Last year marked my first attempt to satisfy my obsession with 3D printing. Naturally I printed my own head, I'd had a model laying around since my student days of 2011, I refined it and made if print ready (which mostly just involves making the .stl water tight, for more guidance on making your 3D models ready to 3D print see this 3D article on 3D Printing 3D Prep (article is not actually '3D')).

I discovered that my place of work had a 3D Touch from 3D Systems... visiting that link I've just seen that the staff overseeing the 3D printing were so enamoured with my print that they used it in the article (without my permission), likely because it was the most complicated/time-consuming build they had seen....
